Biography: The origins of Captain Salem Blackthorne have been hinted at, but are still mostly unknown. It is clear that he spent time in a military unit, and that it has left a mark on him. It has also been revealed that he was at one point held as a slave by Drow in the Underdark. Beyond these things the young Captain says little about his past. Previously thought a loner since his reemergence in the towns and villages along the River Rauvin, Salem has now taken up with a small group of travelers. They have joined together under an adventuring charter, and have taken the name the Rauvin Rovers.
Rumors:
-He has giant blood in him.
-He forged his ax from the weapons of fallen enemies.
-His ax is called "Wolf-Render".
-His ax is called "The Orc Cleaver".
-He is actually much older than he looks.
-He is some how touched by divinity, and can't fall in combat.
